Byzantium Novum was officially founded Feb. 8, 2010, establishing the first working official Byzantine government to exist in more than 500 years.
Byzantium Novum was created with Foundational Laws which are the cornerstone of our Byzantine nation and which codify our primary goals and form.
Our nation and worldwide community were formally declared that same year with the Declaration of Byzantium Novum.
Our government and community are codified in our Constitution.
